This handheld inspection magnifier uses a 3-diopter (3/4x magnification), 4" x 2" rectangular lens to speed-up and simplify inspection of solder joints, welds, and other stress areas. Eliminates the need for complete disassembly of item being inspected. One switch controls two 4-watt fluorescent tubes for normal inspection. A separate switch turns on two 4-watt UV tubes that produce black light of inspections using UV-sensitive materials. Defects, cracks, contaminants, etc. that are invisible to the naked eye glow brilliantly in " fault finder" mode, even in lit-up areas. Constructed of ultra-durable plastic. Includes 3-wire cord.
